About the role

Ambitious B2B Marketing Manager? Join our A.I. startup

Fast-growing technology startup Samba.ai is looking for a B2B marketing manager, who will take full responsibility for our marketing strategy and communications. Your main responsibilities will entail 1) building brand and product awareness within key customer segments by using principles of Account-Based Marketing and 2) generating quality leads for the business development team by building great content marketing.

What will you do?

Be the person with the deepest understanding of our current and potential clients, their needs, and expectations. Your job will be to translate these insights into Samba.ai’s product design, marketing activities, and communications with the goal of generating demand for our services. Thus, you will work very closely with both product and business development teams. As we are building our marketing team from scratch, you will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to set up your own marketing department and strategy.

You will be directly responsible for:

  • marketing strategy
  • brand management & communications
  • product design & product marketing development
  • lead & demand generation
  • content marketing & SEO
  • social media & PR

What makes you a great fit?

We’re looking for a highly proactive and responsible person with a hands-on approach to marketing. The ideal candidate should have at least an intermediate level of martech knowledge. However, we understand that a candidate with deep knowledge in all requested marketing areas is unlikely to exist. Therefore, we’ll evaluate your thinking style, and open-to-learn mindset as these are the most important parameters in our ideal candidate.

As the ideal candidate, you should also be:

  • a “business first” person
  • analytical & strategic-minded
  • a natural leader with the ability to motivate others
  • stress-resistant

What experience should the ideal candidate have?

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing (mid-senior level) in the technology space or a software company
  • formal education in marketing, sociology, or psychology
  • skilled in writing and designing
  • familiar with principles of design thinking (business modeling, Business Value Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas, lean methodology, innovation matrix)
  • Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch are to your advantage (any of them)
  • English in C1
